This special Limited Edition comes only in a limited production of 4,000 units, with a serial number marked on the back of each case, in celebration of the 40-year anniversary of the very first analog quartz chronograph featuring the stopwatch mechanism allowing to measure time down to 1/100 second. Equipped with the new solar chronograph 8A50 caliber, this remarkable watch is distinguished by an extremely readable, uniquely designed dial with a charcoal gray background and four black subdials, which clearly differentiate the dial itself and chronograph indicators, with LumiBrite hands and markers. The stopwatch mechanism allows measuring elapsed time up to 60 minutes in 1/100-second intervals, while a split time function is also included; the solar cell, charging the mechanism under any light and providing 6 months autonomy per charge without a need for a battery change, is built into the watch.
