Seiko Speedtimer 1/100 Second Solar Chronograph. Equipped with a new movement 8A50 solar chronograph, this watch adds more innovations to the high-performance series, inspired by the very first Seiko, and world’s, analog quartz chronograph that had a stopwatch with 1/100 seconds accuracy. To improve readability, an unusual design of the dial is created with a black dial and four black inset subdials, dividing the time display from the chronograph indications, and LumiBrite hands and indices. As for the chronograph, this watch counts up to 60 minutes of elapsed time with 1/100 second accuracy, has a split time function, while the solar cells, that work on the light source regardless of the type, having no need in battery changing, provide energy autonomy for 6 months after full charge. For a convenience in using the stopwatch, this watch has a distinctive hammer shape of the pushers with concave tops.
